Swaledale Mountain Rescue

As part of our Geography work on mountains, we had a visit from James Foxwell from the Swaledale Mountain Rescue. He spoke to the pupils about the work they do and ways of making sure you stay safe if heading out to explore our local area. It was interesting to see photographs of the landscape we have been exploring on maps as well as hearing about incidents of flooding and flood rescue which linked to our work last term.
